The Colle di Rocco winery specialises in the production of passito wines and the Vernaccia di Cannara.The winery was founded on the idea of enhancing a local product a wine with a thousand-year-old tradition, the Vernaccia di Cannara, now produced by very few local companies. The intention is to safeguard its production by replanting autochthonous vines, through winery processing, with the skilful blend of ancient techniques and modern reinterpretations.

Our farm specialises in the production of passito wines and, in limited editions, also produces traditional local wines, both red and white. We are one of the few producers of Vernaccia di Cannara DOC (see file) remaining in the area, a red passito wine with intense aromas of fruit and red berries, whose sweetness is perfectly balanced by the tannicity and acidity typical of the rare Cornetta grape from which it is made.Our decades-old white grape varieties also allow us to produce a remarkable Passito Bianco wine (see sheet), made from native varieties such as Trebbiano, Grechetto, Malvasia Toscana and Malvasia Laziale.
