In the mid-twentieth century, the rural reality in Italy underwent considerable changes following the industrial ferment that took hold once the Second World War was over. The countryside was gradually abandoned by farming families who left the cultivation of fields and livestock breeding as well as the farmhouses that they had occupied for hundreds of years. Thus, for a good twenty years, a desolate landscape remained, with rural villages and hamlets that drastically reduced their population, and a countryside that after hundreds of years was suddenly left to its fate.The new Cantina Fanini was born, combining the concept of modern viticulture with great knowledge of the land and its production potential, in a new challenge that led to the production of wines of particular character, appreciated and consumed in various countries around the world.
