The Bittarelli family has lived and worked on this land since 1940, first as farmers and since 1970 as owners. The Bittarelli family-run farm was then established, which extends over about 30 hectares and uses the organic method and land rotation for its production, in order to obtain a healthy, quality harvest.Since 2003, we have been producing small domestic chickpeas, spelt, barley, chickling peas and Fagiolina del Trasimeno, an ancient legume that has found in these places the ideal climate and soil to become a unique, high quality product, protected by the Fagiolina del Trasimeno Consortium.
