In Via Casalotto (Osteria della Fontana area), Anagni, you will find all our products - wine, grappa and much more. The territory bordered to the east by the Rio Torto, a tributary of the River Paglia, which runs lengthwise through the farm, is made up of clayey-sandy soils, characterised by the presence of particular geological formations known as 'calanchi'.
These appear as wide and deep splits in the ground, the result of erosion created by atmospheric agents, particularly along the rain valleys, about 2 million years ago. In these cuts, made by nature on the sides of the hills, due to continuous erosive activity, nothing grows, but the territory takes on a particular connotation that makes the area an area of great landscape value.
There are numerous fossil finds (shells, molluscs... etc.), dating back to Pliocene epochs when the waters occupied this entire area as far as lapping against Città della Pieve.
