The company

The target audience for the farm visits is mainly primary and secondary schools and pre-schools; however, the routes can be adapted to the children's level of schooling. Those responsible for the educational farm activities are all operators who have attended the qualification course for Educational Farm Operators. The courses designed for school groups are essentially of two types:- the first involves observing the plant cycle of cereals and legumes; the workshops will be organised in three separate visits from November to May:- Sowing the main autumn cereals and discovering the mill (November);- Processing cereals: bread workshop (February);

- Plant development cycle: visit to the fields, flowering and ear formation (May).- the second, more suitable for pre-schoolers, involves: a visit to the farm and observation of plants in the field a walk in the forest a visit to the sheep pasture. All activities include a snack based on organic farm produce and a play area near the farm. The final objective of the various educational paths offered is to familiarise children with agricultural reality and the development cycle of plants linked to the seasons.

Educational and/or therapeutic specifications

Bringing schoolchildren into contact with the earth, seeds, and nature, combined with raising awareness of organic farming, can be a stimulus to create environmentally aware and respectful consumers.
