The Borgo is located in the heart of Umbria, in the land of wine and oil. Between Rome, Florence and the nearby villages of Spoleto, Montefalco, Bevagna, Trevi and Campello. Here history and nature blend with contemporary design and old furniture left to suggest the long work of time. Botonta derives from an ancient term and means 'border place' separating Trevi and Spoleto.

The rooms and the flat are named after the place in which they are located. Specifically, the names of the rooms are inspired by the fabrics and natural fibres we have used for the furnishings, you will find period textiles worked on looms, handmade lace and embroidery from the 1800s/900s. There are interesting thematic books on the territory, the history of the Castle, the lost language and traditions of central Umbria.
