- We begin the discovery of the 'Perugia Sotterranea' with a visit to the Rocca Paolina, a unique place made up of thousands of years of superimpositions where we can rediscover the history of the city from the Etruscan era - Porta Marzia - through the Middle Ages - Baglioni quarter - and the Renaissance - Fortezza Papale - to the Risorgimento period - Piazza Italia. From its position Perugia dominates the most beautiful views, starting with the one towards the valley of Assisi.
- The visit then continues to the beating 'heart' of the city with Piazza del Mercato and its elegant 15th-century architecture, Corso Vannucci and its noble residences, to Piazza IV Novembre with its most beautiful monuments: the Fontana Maggiore by Giovanni and Nicola Pisano, Palazzo dei Priori, the Sala dei Notari and the Cathedral of San Lorenzo. One of Perugia's most beautiful panoramic overlooks, Porta Sole, allows one to see another famous panorama, that towards the mountains of Gubbio and Borgo Sant'Angelo.
