Accomodation - I borghi delle due valli
The Podere Conte Ràcani farm is located 400 metres above sea level, on the hills overlooking the left bank of the Tiber, 10 km from the Attigliano-Bomarzo exit on the A1 motorway.
It preserves the name of the ancient owners, the Ràcani Counts, a noble Umbrian family whose coat of arms featured two lizards (ràcani in dialect), still present in the farmhouse logo.
Next to the manor house, three flats were obtained by restoring the stables and barn, respecting the character and materials of the local tradition.
All around are olive groves, pastures, cultivated fields, holm-oak woods, centuries-old oaks and beautiful typical Umbrian landscapes.
Five hectares (twenty acres) of young hazelnut trees, two hectares (eight acres) of bamboo and young olive trees have been planted to strengthen the farm's production. There is no shortage of classic farm animals: chickens, ducks, horses and dogs.
