In the green of the rolling hills of the Altotiberina region on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, a delightful family-run agriturismo where you can spend a pleasant holiday of relaxation and good home cooking, pampered by the warmth and kind hospitality of the owners. The agriturismo consists of three farmhouses dating back to the early 20th century from which 7 flats and 3 rooms have been created, furnished with period furniture and equipped with all comforts, preserving the old wooden beams, stone walls, terracotta floors, hearths and stone sinks. The farmhouses are surrounded by pinewoods, olive groves, vineyards and woods and dominate the valley from above, offering unique views of the green Umbrian countryside. The farm produces extra virgin olive oil, wine, Vin Santo, honey and organically grown vegetables that can be purchased on the farm. The rolling hills surrounding the property are rich in small villages, castles and abbeys unknown to mass tourism. In a short time you can reach the most beautiful Umbrian and Tuscan towns for a plunge into history and art. Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Cortona and Arezzo are just a few kilometres away. To delight the palate, the typical Locanda offers regional recipes prepared with typical Umbrian products and farm produce (organic vegetables, honey, oil, wine and vin santo) that can be purchased on site. Bread, pasta and desserts are homemade every day. The cooks are available to guests for cooking courses and tastings. Swimming pool with solarium, library, magazines and shady paths for those who want to relax; mountain bikes, horse riding, trekking paths, artificial lake with fish for those who want to practise sport. Little guests can spend the day having fun, for them there is a playground, bowling alley, table tennis, games and TV room, educational farm workshops and lots of animals to cuddle. They can learn to eat well with menus cooked especially for little gourmets. Those travelling with animals will also find welcome and plenty of green spaces for their four-legged friends to run around in.
