The farmhouse is located five kilometres from Gubbio, a town rich in folklore and art.Gubbio is known throughout the world for the Festa dei Ceri, which takes place every year on 15 May, the eve of the feast day of St. Ubaldo. Other events include the Palio della balestra (crossbow contest) between the crossbowmen of Gubbio and Sansepolcro on the last Sunday in May, and the Good Friday procession.At Christmas time, on the feast day of the Immaculate Conception, the world's largest Christmas tree is lit along the slopes of Mount Ingino, at the top of which the uncorrupted remains of the patron saint St. Ubaldo are kept.
