A family-run farm, focused on the organic cultivation of olive trees, cattle, sheep, pigs and farmyard animals, and more recently on the planting of an orchard (including ancient fruits), a cultivated truffle ground, officinal plants and the start of beekeeping activities. The Latini sisters, Valeria (Degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology), and passionate about medicinal herbs and natural therapies. Sara (Degree in Economics and Business Administration) Entrepreneur, the heart of the company, who with great passion and a green thumb takes care not only of administrative activities, but above all of all of all agricultural paperwork, and Francesca (Degree in Economics and Food Culture) who is responsible for the food safety of the company's products and is passionate about beekeeping; together with their parents, they each make their own contribution to what is now a beautiful farm "Fattoria del Castello" with the possibility for young and old to have many types of experiences and learning and direct knowledge of a simple and welcoming environment that smells of tradition and history with a whiff of feminine novelty.

What is included

Description of the steps:

1) Let's name it! The children are invited to divide into subgroups and give each other a name inspired by the vegetable garden (e.g. "The Unleashed Tomatoes").

2) The vegetable garden quiz. The children are asked to solve the quiz: "How do you make a vegetable garden?" The children will find cards on each of which a cultivation work step is described and they will have to put them in sequence. At the end of the work, they will concretely verify whether what they have decided corresponds to reality. Each step will be illustrated in such a way as to point out the necessary precautions and provide information on the individual actions.

a) Next, the children are asked to equip themselves with the necessary tools to start cultivating the garden, and will be shown what to do and how.

b) At the end of the work, any questions will be answered and impressions and feelings about the activity carried out will be collected. Practical activity: Transplanting the seedlings into the soil where they will then be identified with their names. With the possibility of seeing the growth and having the mature vegetable delivered to the classroom. Or put seeds in jars that they can take home. When eating
