PASSION FOR WINE - focus on our origins, between technology, history and tradition

Umbertide, like the whole of Umbria, has an ancient tradition of wine-growing (the Etruscans inhabited this territory and, as wherever they lived, wine-growing was one of the pivotal activities of their society), yet there is no real historicity with respect to the use of indigenous grape varieties other than the best known in Umbria.This is why the Blasi family has decided to plant some native Umbrian vines of established quality such as Trebbiano Spoletino, Grechetto and Sangrantino, but also to focus on the international vines best suited to the microclimate and soils of their company: from Merlot to Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon, from Chardonnay to Sauvignon blanc. The choice is one of quality without stereotypes, which today wants a viticulture that necessarily goes in search of native grape varieties, whether they are excellent or insignificant.

The winery has a characteristic tasting room under Palazzo Bertanzi where up to 50 people can be accommodated. In the new building, a large hall can accommodate up to 200 people for tastings and various types of events. A special room can accommodate up to 40 people for professional tastings.

All tastings include guided tours of the vineyards, the historic cellar and the new cellar.

What is included

DescriptionAs you may well deduce from the name, the Blasi 360° is the most representative tasting of our winery; capable of providing a complete vision of the many facets of our vineyards and our philosophy. Bubbles, whites, reds and rosés, concluding with our passito. We begin with our classic method paired with bruschetta with evo oil produced by the winery; followed by a trio of still whites paired with a platter of cured meats and local products; lasagnetta with ragout served with Impronta rosso; our own porchetta served with Cabernet franc; and concluding on a sweet note with our passito wine and single-portion sweets.
