Visita del Castello di San Terenziano del XIV secolo, dimora dei Duchi di Cesi nel Rinascimento. Visita del Castello di Barattano, autentico Maniero del XIII secolo. Visita del Castello di Grutti del XI secolo, le cui mura furono costruite dai Ghibellini. 

Orari: Mattino partenza alle 08.00 con rientro intorno alle 12.00 – Pomeriggio partenza alle 15.00 con rientro intorno alle 19.00.

Passeggiata idonea a cavalieri esperti e meno esperti. Per ogni passeggiata è richiesto un minimo di preparazione che verrà valutata all’interno del maneggio

Contract terms

FOREWORD - The COCOON TRAVELS agency acts both as a seller, as far as the sale of tourist packages and individual services organised by third parties is concerned, and as an organiser as far as tailor-made trips elaborated on the specific request of the traveller are concerned.1 - LEGISLATIVE SOURCES - The sale of tourist packages and services is governed by Law no. 1084 of 27/12/1977 (ratification and execution of the International Convention on the Travel Contract (CCV) of Brussels on 23/04/1970, by Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 and by Legislative Decree no. 79/2011 (Tourism Code).2 - AUTHORISATIONS - The COCOON TRAVELS agency is authorised to carry out the activity of selling and organising tourist packages and services in accordance with the regulations in force.3 - DEFINITIONS - For the purposes of this contract: "organiser" means the professional who combines packages and sells/offers them for sale directly/in conjunction with another professional, or who transmits the traveller's data to another professional in accordance with letter c), number 2.4), art. 33 Tourism Code; "seller": the professional other than the organiser who sells or offers for sale packages combined by an organiser; "traveller": anyone who intends to conclude a contract, concludes a contract or is authorised to travel on the basis of a contract concluded, within the scope of the Tourism Code, Title VI, Chapter I"Package tour": the combination of at least two different types of tourist services for the purposes of the same trip or holiday, if at least one of the following conditions occurs: 1) these services are combined by a single professional, even at the request of the traveller or in accordance with his or her selection, before a single contract is concluded for all the services; 2) these services, even if concluded under separate contracts with individual tourist service providers, are1) purchased at a single point of sale and selected before the traveller agrees to pay; 2.2) offered, sold or invoiced at a lump sum or overall price; 2.3) advertised or sold under the name "package" or a similar name; 2.(4) combined after the conclusion of a contract whereby the trader allows the traveller to choose from a selection of different types of tourist services, or purchased from separate traders through related online booking processes where the traveller's name, payment details and e-mail address are transmitted by the trader with whom the first contract is concluded to one or more other traders and the contract with the latter trader or traders is concluded at the latest 24 hours after the confirmation of the booking of the first tourist service (Art. 33(4)(c) Legislative Decree 79/2011)."Linked tourist services": at least two different types of tourist services purchased for the purposes of the same trip or holiday, not constituting a package, and involving the conclusion of separate contracts with individual tourist service providers, if a professional facilitates, alternatively (1) at the time of a single visit or a single contact with its point of sale, the separate selection and separate payment of each tourist service by travellers; (2) the targeted purchase of at least one additional tourist service from another professional when that purchase is concluded within 24 hours of the confirmation of the booking of the first tourist service (Art. 33 n. 4 letter f) D. Lgs. 79/2011).4 - MANDATORY INFORMATION - TECHNICAL FILE - The organiser produces a technical file, (available in the catalogue or on the website) the elements of which are: 4.1) Details of the administrative authorisation; 4.2) details of the third party liability insurance policy in favour of the traveller; 4.3) details of the insurance policy or Guarantee Fund in favour of the traveller in accordance with Art. 47 n. 2-3 "Tourism Code". For "tailor-made trips" organised by COCOON TRAVELS with specific client requests, the organiser will provide the traveller with the exchange rates adopted at the time the contract is stipulated, the cost of transport including the cost of fuel, landing, disembarkation or embarkation fees and taxes at ports and airports, local taxes.5 - RESERVATIONS - The booking request must be made on the appropriate contract form, also electronic, filled out in full and signed by the client, who will receive a copy. Acceptance of the booking will only be considered finalised when the organiser sends confirmation, also by electronic means, to the client at the seller's premises or at the client's address.6 - PAYMENTS - In the case of the sale of packages and related tourist services by third parties. At the time of booking, the deposit must be paid in the amount requested by the organiser, in addition to the registration fee and ancillary costs provided. The balance must always be paid 30 days prior to departure. If the booking is made in the 30 days prior to departure, the traveller will be obliged to pay the entire sum when the contract is signed.Failure to pay the above sums on the agreed dates will authorise the intermediary travel agency to immediately cancel the booking with the organiser due to the fault of the defaulting traveller. In any case, the traveller will be liable for all sums stipulated by the organiser as a penalty accrued up to the time of cancellation.In the case of "tailor-made" packages with specific customer requirements and related tourist services. At the time of booking, the full amount of air or sea transport or other transport costs, both outward and return, as well as embarkation and disembarkation taxes at airports, ports or other places designated for the departure and arrival of the means of transport chosen by the customer, must be paid. In addition, at the time of booking, a deposit equal to 25% of the total cost of hotel services and any other services necessary for the fulfilment of the assignment, as well as registration fees and ancillary costs, must be paid.A second deposit equal to a further 25% must be paid 60 days prior to departure.The total balance must be paid 30 days prior to departure.When the booking is made between the 60th and 30th day prior to departure, the deposit to be paid shall be 50% of the total cost of hotel services and any other services necessary to fulfil the mandate, in addition to the transport costs.In the case of bookings made after the 30th day prior to departure, the traveller will be obliged to pay the entire sum when the contract is signed.7 Failure to pay the above-mentioned sums on the agreed dates constitutes an express termination clause that will result in the COCOON TRAVELS agency, in its capacity as organiser, rescinding the contract, without prejudice to compensation for further damages suffered.7 - PRICE - The price of the package and/or services is determined in the contract, with reference to what is indicated in the catalogue or programme outside the catalogue, and may be increased or decreased up to 20 days prior to departure as a result of changes in: 7.1) transport costs, including the cost of fuel; 7.2) landing, disembarkation or embarkation fees and taxes at ports and airports, local taxes; 7.3) exchange rates.For variations, reference shall be made to the exchange rates and costs referred to above in force on the date of publication of the programme.8 - WITHDRAWAL OF THE TRAVELER BY THE ORGANISER - The traveller may withdraw from the tourist package contract, without paying a penalty, in the following cases: A) increase in the price referred to in art. 6 above in an amount exceeding 8% of the total price of the package; B) significant modification of one or more of the main characteristics of the tourist services as listed in art. 34 paragraph 1 letter a) "Tourism Code"; C) impossibility for the organiser to satisfy the specific requests of the traveller already previously accepted. In the event of withdrawal, the organiser will reimburse the traveller for the sums collected within 14 days. Alternatively, the organiser may offer the traveller a replacement package of equal or superior quality, or even lower, with the traveller's right to an appropriate reduction in the price.The organiser shall inform the traveller of the proposed changes, their impact on the price, the period within which the traveller must communicate his or her decision, the consequences of failure to respond within the specified time, the possible replacement package and its price. In the case of packages organised by COCOON TRAVELS, the traveller may withdraw from the contract by notifying COCOON TRAVELS in writing at cocoon@pec.cocoontravels.com within 48 hours of receipt of the notice of increase or modification. In the absence of express notification within the deadline, the organiser's proposal is deemed to have been accepted.9 - WITHDRAWAL OF THE TRAVELER - The traveller who withdraws from the contract before departure outside the cases listed in points A), B) and C) of art. 8) above, will be charged (independently of the down payment referred to in art. 6) cancellation fees in a form proportional to the time elapsing between the date of departure and the date of communication of the cancellation as follows:In the case of the sale of tourist packages and services of third parties.The General Terms and Conditions of the organiser chosen by the traveller will be authoritative.In the case of "tailor-made trips" organised by COCOON TRAVELS according to specific requests by the customer.Air, sea or other transport costs- 100% for total or partial cancellations made from the date of booking.Costs of hotel and other services necessary to carry out mandato 30% for total or partial cancellations made from the date of booking to the 45th day prior to departure; 50% for total or partial cancellations made from the 44th to the 30th day prior to departure; 75% for total or partial cancellations made from the 29th to the 7th day prior to departure; 100% for total or partial cancellations made from the 7th day prior to departure onwards.Registration fees and additional costs shall be charged to the traveller in the amount of 100% of their value. In the case of pre-constituted groups (more than nine participants), these amounts will be agreed on a case-by-case basis upon signing the contract.10 - WITHDRAWAL FOR EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES - In the case of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occurring at the place of destination or in its immediate vicinity, which have a substantial effect on the execution of the package or on the carriage of passengers to the destination, the traveller has the right to withdraw from the contract before the beginning of the package, without paying withdrawal costs (penalties).The organiser may withdraw from the tourist package contract and offer the traveller a full refund of the payments made for the package, but is not obliged to pay additional compensation if A) the number of persons enrolled in the package is less than the minimum stipulated in the contract and the organiser communicates the withdrawal from the contract to the traveller within the time limit set out in the contract and in any case no later than twenty days before the start of the package in the case of trips lasting more than six days, seven days before the start of the package in the case of trips lasting between two and six days, forty-eight hours before the start of the package in the case of trips lasting less than two days; B) the organiser is unable to perform the contract due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances and communicates the withdrawal from the contract to the traveller without unjustified delay before the beginning of the package.11 - WITHDRAWAL FOR CONTRACTS NEGOTIATED AWAY FROM COMMERCIAL LOCATIONS - In the case of contracts negotiated away from commercial premises, the traveller has the right to withdraw from the tourist package contract within a period of five (5) days from the date of the conclusion of the contract, without penalty and without having to give reasons. In the case of offers with rates significantly lower than the current offers, the right of withdrawal is excluded.12 - MODIFICATIONS AFTER DEPARTURE - If after departure the organiser is unable to provide for any reason, except for the traveller's own doing, an essential part of the agreed services, he will provide alternative solutions without price supplements, reimbursing the differences to the traveller when the services provided are of a lower value than those foreseen.If there is no alternative solution, or if the solution provided by the organiser is refused for proven and justified reasons, the organiser will provide, without price supplement and subject to availability of means and places, a means of transport equivalent to the original one planned for the return to the place of departure, and will reimburse the difference between the cost of the services provided and the cost of the services provided up to the time of the early return.13 - TRANSFER OF THE TOUR PACKAGE CONTRACT TO ANOTHER TRAVELER - The traveller, pursuant to article 38 of the Tourism Code, may transfer the tourist package to another person provided that A) the substitution is made possible by the regulations of the carriers and the countries of destination; B) the organiser is informed in writing at least seven (7) working days prior to the date of departure, receiving at the same time notification of the reasons for the substitution and the particulars of the transferee; C) the transferee meets all the conditions for the use of the service and in particular the requirements relating to passports, visas, health certificates; D) the same services or other services in substitution can be provided following the substitution; E) the substitute reimburses the organiser for the expenses incurred for the substitution, to the extent that will be quantified before the transfer. The transferor and the transferee are jointly and severally liable for the payment of the price, as well as for any expenses referred to in letter E) of this article.14 - TRAVELERS' OBLIGATIONS - Travellers shall inform COCOON TRAVELS of their citizenship and ensure that they are in possession of their individual passport and any other document valid for the countries covered by the itinerary, as well as residence visas, transit visas and health certificates when required. Travellers will find the information through government channels, and will ensure that it is up to date with the competent authorities before departure. No responsibility for the non-departure of one or more travellers may be ascribed to the organiser. Travellers must also comply with the rules of normal prudence in addition to the specific rules in force in the destination countries of the trip, the information provided by the organiser and the administrative or legislative provisions relating to the tourist package. Travellers will be held liable for all damages that the organiser may suffer as a result of their failure to comply with the above obligations.The traveller is required to provide the organiser with all documents and information in his or her possession that are useful for exercising the organiser's right of subrogation towards third parties responsible for the damage, and is liable towards the organiser for the prejudice caused to the right of subrogation.The Traveller is obliged to inform the seller and the organiser of any special needs or conditions (pregnancy, food intolerances, disabilities, etc.) and to specify the request for personalised services. The Traveller shall inform the organiser in writing, at the time of booking, of the details to be considered as being the subject of specific agreements on the travel arrangements, provided that it is possible to implement them.15 - REGIME OF LIABILITY - EXECUTION OF THE PACKAGE The organiser is responsible for the execution of the tourist services envisaged in the package contract, regardless of whether these services are provided by the organiser himself/herself, by his/her auxiliaries or supervisors when acting in the exercise of their functions, by third parties whose work he/she uses or by other service providers, in accordance with Art. 1228 of the civil code, unless he proves that the non-fulfilment is due to the traveller's fault (including initiatives autonomously taken by the latter during the execution of the tourist services) or to circumstances extraneous to the provision of the services foreseen, to fortuitous events, force majeure and circumstances that the organiser could not reasonably foresee or resolve.The seller is responsible as far as his quality of intermediary is concerned and in any case within the limits foreseen by the relevant regulations.The traveller, pursuant to articles 1175 and 1375 of the Civil Code, informs the organiser, directly or through the seller, in a timely manner, taking into account the circumstances of the case, of any lack of conformity detected during the execution of a service foreseen by the package contract.16 - LIMITS OF COMPENSATION - In the event of a lack of conformity of the tourist package that has caused damage to the traveller, compensation may not, in any case, exceed the limits indicated in article 43 paragraph 5 of the "Tourism Code".17 - OBLIGATION TO ASSIST - The organiser will provide adequate assistance, without delay, to the traveller who finds himself in difficulty, as foreseen by art. 45 paragraphs 1-2 of the "Tourism Code".18 - HOTEL CLASSIFICATION - The classification of hotel facilities is provided according to the indications of the competent authorities of the country in which the service is provided. As per international regulations, rooms and/or flats will be delivered after 4 p.m. and on the day of departure they must be vacated by 10 a.m. (local time) unless otherwise indicated.19 - OBLIGATIONS OF PROTECTION IN CASE OF INSOLVENCY OR FAILURE AND INFORMATION IN CONNECTION WITH LINKED TOURIST SERVICES - In the event of the purchase of a linked tourist service or a corresponding offer, the traveller: a) may not invoke any of the rights that apply exclusively to packages in accordance with Chapter I, Title VI of annex 1 to D. Lgs. 79/2011; b) each service provider shall be solely responsible for the exact contractual performance of his service; c) the traveller may invoke protection in the event of insolvency or bankruptcy in accordance with Art. 47 c. 2 of the Tourism Code.20 - PROTECTION IN CASE OF INSOLVENCY OR BANKRUPTCY - Contracts for tourist packages and related tourist services are assisted by insurance policies or guarantee funds to protect travellers which, in the event of insolvency or bankruptcy of the organiser or seller, guarantee the refund of the price paid for the purchase of the package or service and the immediate return of the traveller if the package includes transport.21 - ADR PROCEDURES - For the resolution of disputes relating to the tourist package, the traveller may activate a mediation or assisted negotiation procedure (Alternative Dispute Resolution procedures) pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 206/2005.Compulsory communication pursuant to art. 17 of Law no. 38/2006: Italian law punishes with imprisonment offences relating to prostitution and child pornography even if committed abroad.
