The complex is located within the medieval walls of the city of Foligno, with easy access from whichever direction one comes from. It is perfectly set in the quiet architectural context of the historic centre, close to the stupendous Romanesque church of San Giacomo (13th century).
Our business was established in the spring of 1980, and still today, after more than 37 years, the Valentini family offers its customers its services with enthusiasm and dedication. Our restaurant is the child of the "Quintana", a chivalrous tournament of the 17th century that takes place every year in June and September in our town, because it was founded in 1977 as a "local tavern" and in 1980 it became a small trattoria by renovating a room that had housed the blacksmith's "workshop" of Valentini Aristotile, known as "Toto", our head of the family. Since then, our business has been enriched and expanded with slow but steady improvements through passion and dedication The renowned restaurant "Le Mura", mentioned in numerous national guides, is especially appreciated for its soups and barbecued meats, not forgetting the Santa Lucia waffles, all served in a comfortable environment that creates a perfect combination with a family welcome.
In summer, it is possible to eat outdoors in the garden facing our restaurant.
