Dettaglio offerta - I borghi delle due valli
In the morning, we will reach a renowned agriturismo and farm where we will learn about the biological phases of the product, from wheat to milling, we will learn to recognise the various types of flour, the techniques for processing it, the seasons and their crops, and we will experience the transformation of flour into typical Umbrian pasta. At the end of the lesson, we will enjoy a delicious pasta dish combined with other typical products of our region - drinks included. You cannot visit Umbria without tasting its food and wine delights. Viticulture in our region has its origins in the time of the Etruscans and the ancient Umbrian peoples, who took advantage of the excellent soil predisposition for agriculture and the advantageous climatic conditions for growing grapes. Today, Umbria has about 13,000 hectares of vineyards, where the quality of production, rich in very prestigious native varieties, and environmental sustainability are the cornerstones of its competitiveness. The gastronomy of the region also offers many delicacies certified as DOC and DOP for quality level. After lunch, we will visit a prestigious local winery and learn all about their wine-making traditions; the visit will end with a tasting of various wines produced by this winery.
