Pork butchery is an ancient art, and Umbria, in particular, has managed to make it a true culinary art renowned since Roman times. We will visit a prestigious farm in the area to learn its secrets: the history of the pig, the anatomy of the pig, basic techniques for cutting the pig, processing the meat up to the production of sausages, preserving and salting the meat. At the end of the workshop, a well-deserved lunch!

You cannot visit Umbria without enjoying its food and wine delights. Viticulture in our region has its origins in the time of the Etruscans and the ancient Umbrian peoples, who took advantage of the excellent soil predisposition for agriculture and the advantageous climatic conditions for growing grapes. Today, Umbria has around 13,000 hectares of vineyards, where the quality of production, rich in very prestigious native varieties, and environmental sustainability are the cornerstones of its competitiveness. In the afternoon we will reach a local winery and after an interesting visit, we will taste different types of high-quality wine.
